Hadi Ahsan

Hadi Ahsan is a Partner at Soaren Health, where he builds and runs the software and data systems behind the firm's buy-side advisory work. Hadi makes sure the team always has it, and that it stays private and secure.

Hadi is a software engineer at IBM, where he has spent more than three years building systems for some of the most demanding and security-conscious environments in the country, currently at IBM's Defence and Intelligence Centre in Ottawa. Working in a setting where accuracy and confidentiality are non-negotiable has shaped how he handles sensitive deal information. Every financial detail, ownership record, and private document is treated with the same care a bank or a government agency would expect.

Much of Hadi's work centers on artificial intelligence and the systems that support it. He designs software that can sort through large amounts of information, surface the businesses worth a closer look, and highlight what matters most to the deal team. For Soaren, that means the firm can spot promising acquisition targets earlier and assess them faster than a firm its size normally could.

His background lets Soaren work with the kind of technology and data discipline usually seen at much larger advisory firms, without the overhead. Just as important, he builds everything with security first, so confidential deal information and signed agreements are protected at every step.

Hadi holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from York University. Earlier in his career he completed engineering roles and internships across technology and financial services, including at TD, which gave him early grounding in how careful, data-sensitive organizations operate.
